Education can be a rewarding career working with children and/or adults. Administration and IT skills are essential regardless of role and positions will likely require several years of prior training and qualifications, as well as a DBS check. While many roles are student-facing, there are also a variety of administration and IT roles available. Some roles may also require regular training each year, such as teaching.

For example, teachers may use organizational skills to create a classroom that meets their needs. They may also use these skills to prioritize their work appropriately and develop and manage calendars well. These skills often translate well into other professions and support completing work efficiently and on time.
