Library one to one sessions
Bolton Library and Museum Services offer free one to one support for people who need help to get online and use their devices.
The support is delivered by a network of Digital Helpers who have undertaken training to be able to support you with a variety of needs. So whether it's the very basics of getting started to use a device or attaching documents to emails and online shopping they're there to help!

Starts with You basic IT training
Starts with You is a Bolton based social business offering a range of support including basic IT training. Their courses and one to one support are the first step in improving IT skills and helping people to use a computer more independently. This service is delivered in UCAN centres throughout Bolton with a focus on job search, financial inclusion and social connections.
Bolton College courses
If you want to get ahead at work or find employment, or even just increase your confidence with technology for personal reasons, these courses are a must!
ALL of the Basic Digital Skills, Digital Skills for ESOL, Social Media and Software & Support Skills courses on offer at Bolton College are FREE regardless of your circumstances. These are for people who struggle with basic functions or for those who understand the basics, but want to learn further skills for employment and life.
