Introducing Digital Health Hubs

Local support to help you set up and use the NHS App and learn how to use free digital tools to manage your health

Digital Health Hubs are welcoming spaces found in libraries and community venues across Bolton, designed to help people make the most of online health resources. Whether you’re completely new to digital tools or simply need a bit of guidance, these hubs provide free, friendly support to help you feel confident managing your health online.

One of the main services offered is help with setting up and using the NHS App. Staff and volunteers can guide you through downloading the app, creating your NHS login, and understanding the features available—such as ordering repeat prescriptions, viewing your health record, checking test results, or accessing health advice.

Digital Health Hubs can also introduce you to other useful online tools, such as trusted NHS websites, local health services, and digital wellbeing resources. The aim is to ensure everyone can access the information and services they need, regardless of their digital experience.

Whether you have a quick question, want to learn a new skill, or need step‑by‑step support, Digital Health Hubs are here to help. Just drop in to your local library or community centre and one of the team will be ready to assist.
